Poland ranks fourth in Europe in terms of the value of toys production. They mainly go to other EU markets, but in the last year their exports to China increased the most – reports “Rzeczpospolita” on Monday.

“Rzeczpospolita” wrote, citing the Data International Trade Center, that in 2024 the value of Polish toy exports amounted to EUR 2.6 billion. It means 12 % A decline year -on -year, but this is part of a wider trend.
“As Akcenta notes, the global export of toys in 2024 fell by 5 percent, and six of the ten largest markets recorded results worse than in 2023” – we read.
The main recipient of Polish toys are Germany, the Czech Republic, France and other EU markets. By 13 percent year to year, to EUR 78 million, exports to the USA increased, and record because by as much as 392 percent – in the case of sale to China. This market, however, still receives a relatively small part of Polish production, for 23 million euros.
“Despite the moderate decrease in exports in 2024, the Polish toy industry has maintained stability and strong position on foreign markets. Lowering the value of exports by 12 % is the effect of a global slowdown, which affected most of the largest exporters in the world. The Polish toy sector is today a mature industry with a relatively stable demand and a wide range of recipients,” said Radosław Jarema, director of the Polish branch Accents. (PAP)
