MegaFon subscribers in Divnogorsk and the village of Ust-Mana received improved LTE signal reception and higher mobile Internet speeds.
The operator launched base stations in places with high data traffic consumption – gardening communities, tourist locations on Man and on a section of the Yenisei federal highway.
Telecom equipment was installed on Stary Kit Street and Nizhny Proezd, which belong to the industrial zone of Divnogorsk. To provide wide cellular coverage and stable data transmission inside buildings with a large number of rooms, engineers used low and medium frequency spectrums.
Optimal network capacity and mobile Internet speeds of up to 50 Mbit/s are provided by the high-frequency spectrum. Now owners of industrial and manufacturing companies have additional opportunities – from the introduction of smart devices and digitalization of processes to the use of online services and optimization of business operations.
Positive changes will be felt not only by local residents, but also by motorists. The Yenisei federal highway passes through Divnogorsk, connecting the Krasnoyarsk Territory – Khakassia – Tuva. It will become easier for drivers and passengers to navigate, install necessary applications, download music and solve work or household problems while on the road.
To meet the growing demand of subscribers in dacha areas near Ust-Mana and Divnogorsk, the operator built three base stations at once. This made it possible to include about 20 gardening partnerships in the sustainable LTE coverage circuit. Even outside the city, owners of “green” SIM cards will continue to do their usual things: read news and useful tips on caring for crops on the Internet, monitor the weather and phases of the moon, send photos of their harvest to a family chat, pay bills for water and electricity.
The younger generation will also find something to their liking, for example, communicating in instant messengers and social networks, making online purchases, listening to music, watching movies and TV series. As measurements show, in the coverage area of the new infrastructure, the average mobile Internet speed is 25 Mbit/s, and maximum values reach 100 Mbit/s.
Tourists who come to Mansky Plyos beach will also remain in their usual digital rhythm. 4G is also available to subscribers at the Brusnika and SkyCamp recreation centers.
“One of the key transport routes of the region passes through Divnogorsk, and the locations themselves near Mana and Yenisei are actively visited by tourists and summer residents. This creates a high and uneven demand for communications. We have strengthened the network in the busiest locations to ensure stable coverage and comfortable use of digital services for our subscribers who live there or come on vacation,” said Andrey Kim, director of MegaFon in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The development of telecom infrastructure in the urban district of Divnogorsk has expanded the service area of VoLTE technology – digital calls over the Internet.
