The investigative department of the RF Investigative Committee for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia explained what exactly Deputy of the Legislative Assembly Alexey Boykov is accused of. Let us recall that before this information that he was put on the wanted list appeared on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Investigators explained that they are investigating a criminal case initiated on the theft of electricity, which is the property of PJSC Rosseti Siberia – Krasnoyarskenergo. This act is qualified as theft by deception by a group of persons by prior conspiracy on an especially large scale (Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
“The investigator has charged the 36-year-old general director of a commercial organization engaged in beekeeping, and in absentia – his 38-year-old accomplice, an individual entrepreneur. A criminal case was initiated on the basis of materials presented by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory,” the press service said, adding that the second person involved in the case is Legislative Assembly deputy Alexei Boykov.

According to investigators, from June to September 2024, the accused and as yet unidentified other persons rented land from the village of Kuznetsovo near Krasnoyarsk. There they allegedly planned to start beekeeping, but in fact they organized a mining farm consisting of more than 890 pieces of equipment.
The equipment requires electricity, so the attackers, without concluding an agreement, illegally connected to the transformer substation of PJSC Rosseti Siberia – Krasnoyarskenergo. As a result of criminal actions from September 2024 to May 2025, they stole more than 40 million kW of electricity for a total amount of more than 300 million rubles.
The director of the beekeeping company was detained and taken into custody. His comrade has been put on the international wanted list because he has been abroad since September 2025.
Currently, the necessary investigative and procedural actions aimed at collecting and consolidating the evidence base are ongoing.
