Zakhar Petrov took fourth place in the 1000m canoe singles final at the Olympics
The Russian athlete was second for 970 meters, but at the last push he lost ground to the Olympians from Brazil and Moldova.
Petrov became the last Russian athletewho participated in the games. The only medals were taken by tennis players Andreeva and Diana, who took second place in the doubles.
