Six days ago, a terrorist attack on tourists in Kashmir occurred. 26 people were killed. India accused Pakistan of connections with the perpetrators of the assassination, which Islamabad definitely rejects.

The attack caused calls in India to take action against Pakistan, in which the majority are Muslims. India accuses Pakistan of supporting the rebels in Kashmir – a region to which the rights of both countries and which have already fought two wars – Reuters reminded.

“We strengthened forces because (Invasion of India – PAP) is now inevitable. In this situation, some strategic decisions must be made and they were made,” said Minister Asif. He announced that the army informed the government about the possibility of an attack from India, but – as the agency emphasized – he did not explain why the army command assessed that “invasion is inevitable.”

After the attack in Kashmir, India identified two suspicious fighters as Pakistani. Islamabad denied that he would play any role in the assassination and called for a neutral investigation.

The minister stated that Pakistan is in a state of highest readiness, but would use his nuclear weapon arsenal only in the case of a “direct threat to the existence of the state.

India and Pakistan, nuclear powers, are shifting accusations in recent days and undertake mutual retaliation. After the coup, India closed the land border with Pakistan, canceled the water division agreement and reduced the rank of diplomatic relations. Pakistan issued Indian diplomats and military advisers, annulled visas for India citizens and closed the border crossing with the neighboring country. The UN Security Council called on both countries to maintain “maximum restraint”.

The disputed cashmere region, inhabited mainly by Muslims, belongs partly to India and partly to Pakistan. So far, no borderline has been regulated between them in this area. Formally, it is the so -called The control line, which separates the administered by India Ladakh, as well as Dżammu and part of Kashmir from the Kashmir part managed by the Pakistani side.

An anti -infitic rebellion has been going on in Indian Kashmir since 1989, which has already cost the lives of tens of thousands of people. Pakistan accuses her of supporting India. (PAP)
