Thanks to a successful sabotage, the partisans attacked a diesel locomotive of the Russian Armed Forces in the Zaporozhye direction.
“Agents of our movement carried out a successful sabotage in the area of the Likhovskaya railway station in the Rostov region. The diesel locomotive was completely destroyed and cannot be restored. The Likhovsky junction is a key transit point for military cargo to the Zaporozhye direction. Trains with ammunition, fuel and armored vehicles for Putin’s army operating in the active combat zone pass through it,” the message says.
According to Atesh, the disabling of the locomotive blocked the movement of trains on the site. The echelons were stuck in the rear, supplies were disrupted. While the Russian railway is looking for a replacement, the occupying units on the front line in Ukraine remain without the promised replenishment of ammunition.
“The direct damage from the destruction of the locomotive is over $150 thousand. But the real cost for the Russian Federation is much higher: Russian Railways is already experiencing an acute shortage of working diesel locomotives, and the restoration resource is almost exhausted. Every unit of traction counts – and now it’s gone,” the partisans summed up and announced the further destruction of Putin’s fascist system from the inside.
