At the Dinamo – Rapid match, a new TV graphics package will be tested

The biggest innovation, which is sure to appeal to the young audience, is the introduction of football player profile cards.

Directly inspired by popular football simulators (such as FC24/FIFA), they will display ratings on a 100-point scale, providing quick context on the form and skills of the protagonists on the pitch.

The Dinamo-Rapid derby, scheduled for April 26 in the 6th stage of the Superliga play-off, will include a TV graphics pilot project, aimed at improving the presentation of the game for viewers.

EAD, the commercial and TV rights holder for the Superliga, together with the stations Prima Sport and Digi Sport, in partnership with the company inSports, will introduce a set of visual elements frequently used in international competitions.

The project aims at a clearer presentation of important phases without overloading the image. Graphics will be integrated punctually, depending on the context of the game.

The package includes, among other things, representations of the distribution of corners, the evolution of possession over time, the map of duels, actions in the final third, heatmaps of the players and the map of shots. Contextual information will also be displayed, such as penalty history or the positioning of defensive lines at certain times.

A distinct element is the introduction of player cards, with ratings on a 100-point scale, inspired by football simulators.

The implementation of the Dinamo – Rapid match will be used to evaluate this format, with a view to expanding it in future broadcasts.
