Americans in boots. The army wants to automatically register millions of young men

By definition, conscripts. The US plans to automatically register men aged 18 to 25 as enlisted men. The last time the United States introduced such a solution was in the 1970s in connection with the Vietnam War.

Selective Service System, the Polish equivalent of draft boards, asked to change the regulations. The main idea is to change the registration method – now adult men have to take care of it themselves. SSS wants to integrate its systems with federal databases to “streamline the entire process in the context of workforce reorganization,” reports the Daily Mail.

For now, those who do not register may face a fine of up to PLN 250,000. dollars, five years in prison or exclusion from all federal programs.

The White House refuses to comment on this matter for now, while public anxiety is growing. According to Fox News, “mothers fear a draft could take their sons to war,” especially given the conflict in the Middle East.

Trump is not ruling out any options, spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt commented on these revelations. Unofficially, it is said that he privately expressed serious interest in the option of sending a land army to Iran.

For now, it is not known whether women will also be included in this automatic entry into the draft. Any changes must still be approved by Congress.
