On the eve of Cosmonautics Day – it is celebrated on April 12 – party members and activists of the Young Guard of United Russia in the city of Krasnoyarsk, together with the party polar bear, met employees of the Krasmash plant before their work shift, congratulated them on the holiday, presented cards and sweet gifts.
An orbital constellation of satellites has been created within the walls of the enterprise; a third of all spacecraft in the world are launched using Krasmashev’s upper stage modules; the GLONASS program was developed here.
Participant of the festive event, Young Guard member Dmitry Ivushkin noted: “2026 is an anniversary year. The country is celebrating the 65th anniversary of the first human flight into outer space. This event has become a good tradition. For our part, we would like to congratulate the employees of enterprises whose work is inextricably linked with space.”
The Zheleznogorsk local branch of the party congratulated the employees of JSC Information Satellite Systems named after Academician M. F. Reshetnev, the leading enterprise in the territory, on the holiday. Deputies of the City Council and party members presented gifts and cards from United Russia.
“Today the local branch of the United Russia party is organizing a gratitude event. We say “thank you” to all employees of our corporations for their achievements in space. As usual, we congratulate all workers involved in the activities of space industry enterprises. We give you the mood at the checkpoint before the working day. We wish you all the best!”, Mikhail Bykov, deputy of the Zheleznogorsk City Council, executive secretary of the local branch of United Russia, congratulated his fellow countrymen.
Events dedicated to the holiday were held at the United Russia public support headquarters. Guests took part in creative master classes on creating “space in a jar” and painting with watercolors, and a quiz about space and the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin was held for children.
