In the western cities of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 40 public spaces were installed over eight years. The work was carried out under the federal program “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”
The regional Ministry of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities said that since the beginning of the implementation of the federal program, the Birch Grove park, a public garden in the 1st microdistrict and a water-landscape park near the Chulym River have been built in Achinsk. Residents of Bogotol received several public gardens they had chosen for transformation. In the ZATO village of Solnechny, the central square was put in order. In Uzhur, the city park and several public gardens were transformed.
In the city of Nazarovo, over several stages, the Birch Grove park, the alley in the area of school No. 3, the area near the children's sports school were renovated, and several public gardens were also landscaped. In the city of Sharypovo, the “Green Island” park, several new squares and territories, an area near the bus stop near the shopping center, as well as an area in the Central Park appeared.
All objects for improvement were chosen by citizens as part of an all-Russian vote. Every year municipalities with a population of over 10 thousand people participate in it.
“There are three children in our family, we are waiting for the fourth. We spend a lot of time outside, often walking in Central Park, as well as in Green Island Park. Children enjoy swinging on swings, playing in children's playgrounds, and I can relax on a comfortable bench, watching them. Friends who left our city and now come here as guests say that Sharypovo has become noticeably prettier and more comfortable,” said Sharypovo resident Alena Shadurskaya.
In total, since 2018, more than 270 landscaped spaces have appeared in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, chosen by residents. This year, another 33 territories will be transformed. The next vote to select sites for improvement next year will take place from April 21 to June 12.
Let us remind you that in addition to the national project, which operates in cities with a population of over 10 thousand people, the region is implementing regional improvement programs in small villages. Since 2020, in the western territories, streets with adjacent sports and children's playgrounds have been transformed in the village of Malinovka of the Achinsk district, the village of Novobirilyussy of the Birilyussky district, in the villages of Krasnaya Sopka, Krasnaya Polyana, the villages of Preobrazhensky and Glyaden of the Nazarovsky district, the village of Kulun of the Uzhur district, the villages of Novoaltatka, Kholmogorskoye, Berezovskoye Sharypovsky district, villages of Tyukhtet and Bolshoi Uluy.
Thanks to the regional competition for the best projects to create a comfortable urban environment, large landscaped parks, embankments, and squares appeared in Uzhur, Achinsk, Sharypovo, Bogotol, Nazarovo, the villages of Preobrazhensky and Glyaden, the village of Krasnaya Polyana in the Nazarovo District, and the village of Solgon in the Uzhur District.
