In Krasnoyarsk, the main organizer of a contract murder committed in 2017 in the parking lot of the Vzletka Plaza shopping center was convicted in absentia.

Let us remind you that initially a local businessman had a fight with an acquaintance and decided to deal with him with the wrong hands, but in the process of preparing for the crime he indicated to his accomplices another target – it was a 38-year-old native of Georgia.

“The attacker purchased a VAZ-2106 car and a pistol with a silencer. He took on all expenses, transferring funds through trusted assistants. One of them, a driver and security guard, actively helped: he went after the performer, delivered food and equipment. The killer was promised housing, food and full security. Closer to March, the organizer met with his accomplices and gave them cash for gas and small expenses. “Now we need to remove the other one,” he said simply. The preparations were carried out methodically: the weapon was tested with a shot into the cabinet – everything worked without failures, the car stood ready, the victim was watched near restaurants and cafes. On the evening of March 8, the performer got behind the wheel and drove after the target. When the victim was left alone in the car at the flower shop on Vesna Street, he approached and shot twice through the bag – in the neck and head. Then he removed the license plates from the car and hid the gun,” the prosecutor’s office said.

Instead of the promised 2 million rubles, the entrepreneur gave the contractor only 15 thousand rubles for small expenses, after which he fled abroad and was put on the wanted list. The court found him guilty in absentia of organizing a murder for hire and illegal arms trafficking, and sentenced him to 17 years in a maximum security colony with restriction of freedom for 1 year and a fine of 60 thousand rubles.

The accomplices were sentenced earlier: the killer – to 11 years 7 months in prison; another organizer who was tasked with finding the perpetrator of the murder – to 16 years in a maximum security colony.
