According to ZUS, the funds went to almost 1.4 million retirees and disability pensioners whose standard date for payment of benefits is April 10.

The total value of the money transferred was nearly PLN 2 billion 663 million. The additional benefit was paid together with the April pension.
Schedule of subsequent payments
ZUS announced that this is not the end of transfers. Subsequent tranches of thirteen installments will be implemented in accordance with the basic benefit payment schedule.
The money will be sent to eligible persons on several more dates: April 15, 20 and 25 and May 1. This means that Millions more seniors will receive additional funds in the coming weeks.
ZUS also reminded that one of the most important information for beneficiaries is the lack of need to submit any documents. The thirteenth pension is paid automatically, ex officio.
This solution ensures that the benefit reaches all eligible persons without additional formalities, which significantly simplifies the entire process.
