The IRGC claims to have struck energy complexes and oil transfer lines linked to the US and Israel last night, including oil facilities in the Saudi Arabian port city of Yanbu, according to state media, Sky News writes.

It is not clear whether this happened before or after the US-announced temporary pause in attacks on Iran.

The statements come after Iran's president spoke for the first time about the US-Iran ceasefire agreement.

“The ceasefire, by accepting the general principles desired by Iran, was the fruit of the blood of our great martyr leader Khamenei and the result of the presence of the whole people on the stage”Masoud Pezeshkian posted on X.

Turkish President Erdogan warned on Wednesday, April 8, about “possible provocations and acts of sabotage” after the announcement of a truce between Iran and the United States.

“We welcome the ceasefire (…) in the war that ignited our region since February 28. We hope that the ceasefire will be fully implemented on the ground, leaving no room for possible provocations or acts of sabotage,” the Turkish leader said on X.

Meanwhile, Israel's military (IDF) announced it had carried out the largest wave of attacks on Lebanon's Hezbollah since the start of the war, just hours after the US and Iran agreed to a two-week ceasefire.

More than 100 Hezbollah targets were struck by Israeli forces in the capital Beirut and areas of southern Lebanon in a span of just 10 minutes, according to the IDF.

“This is the largest strike against Hezbollah's infrastructure since the start of Operation Roaring Lion”they transmitted.

The attack, which also targeted Hezbollah's headquarters, was “meticulously planned for weeks,” the IDF said.

Although the targets were in civilian areas, the military says it has taken steps to reduce risks and previously issued evacuation orders.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu specified that the cease-fire agreement announced by Donald Trump does not include operations against Hezbollah.
