At 38 years old, “Nole” takes the start at the ATP 250 tournament in Adelaide (January 12-17), which he has already won twice, in 2007 and in 2023. The organizers announced the news on social networks.

His main goal remains the Australian Open (January 18 – February 1), where he has already triumphed 11 times, the last time in 2023.

Djokovic changed his schedule from last year when he chose to play at the start of the season in Brisbane (he was defeated in the quarterfinals by Opelka), then in the first Grand Slam of the season he lost to Zverev in the semifinals.

The Serbian is chasing his 25th career Grand Slam title. Over the past two seasons, Alcaraz and Sinner have split the eight majors. In 2025, Djokovic won titles in Geneva and Athens.

Jack Draper, Joao Fonseca, Tommy Paul and Stefanos Tsitsipas will also be on the main draw alongside 'Nole' in Adelaide.
