In Krasnoyarsk, specialists from the regional Office of Rospotrebnadzor checked the Discovery coffee shop chain and found violations.

At the establishment on Partizana Zheleznyaka Street, problems were discovered with labeling and storage of products. Thus, products were accepted into circulation without product labels, information about the composition, manufacturer and expiration dates. This applied to spices, frozen berries, chicken fillet, rice, vegetables, fruits and butter.

In addition, the confectionery products – cakes and cheesecakes – did not indicate production dates. Violations were also found in the storage of meat products: sausages and ham were kept at a temperature of −19°C, although according to the manufacturer’s requirements they must be stored at a temperature from 0°C to +6°C.

All products with violations were withdrawn from circulation. Inspectors also noted problems with disinfestation; activities were carried out irregularly, and their effectiveness was not monitored.

In the coffee shop on Godenko Street, violations concerned both storage and processing of products. Product labels on potatoes and onions were not preserved; these products were written off. In addition, vegetables were processed in a washing bath in the loading room, where cleaning equipment and chemicals were simultaneously stored. Production equipment was washed in the same bath.

In both establishments, the flow of technological processes was not observed – raw materials and finished products overlapped. In addition, in hot shops the same table was used to work with raw and finished products.

Based on the results of the inspection, ORTUS Plus LLC was brought to administrative responsibility. The company was fined 15 thousand rubles and issued an order to eliminate violations.

The resolution has already entered into force and the fine has been paid.
