On Sunday, Masovian Voivode Mariusz Frankowski announced the end of the transfer of dogs from the shelter in Sobolewo, which was closed on Saturday.

According to the voivode's data, 146 dogs remaining in the shelter were transferred to the shelter in Wojtyszki.
People broke into the shelter area
Earlier on Saturday, animal lovers went to the shelter after a protest in the city center. Seeing that despite the decision to close, nothing was happening in the facility, the owner was inside and the animals were kept in very poor conditions during heavy frost, they broke the fence and started spontaneously taking the dogs.
After the situation calmed down, animal organizations remained on site and took dogs from the shelter at night and in the morning on Sunday.
Organizations staying at the shelter from Saturday, throughout the night and most of Sunday complained about the lack of cooperation with the owner of the shelter, and accused the mayor of the Sobolewo commune, who was on site, of obstructing work, turning off the lights and failing to provide rooms for inspection and collection of animals. There was talk about the lack of a plan – the facility was theoretically closed with immediate effect, and the authorities did not dispatch anyone to carry out the process of collecting the animals.
A complete boor and a friend of the torturer, the Mayor of the Sobolew commune, Maciej Błachnio, MAKES it DIFFICULT to extract the sadist's victims from the murder chamber!
THERE IS NO LIGHT, THEY WORK IN COMPLETE DARKNESS AND FREEZE, and sadists warm themselves at the same time!

The voivode expects explanations from the District Veterinary Inspectorate
Frankowski added that he expected explanations this week regarding the situation of the shelter in Sobolewo from the District Veterinary Inspectorate in Garwolin, which supervised it.
“The action of transferring the animals lasted continuously from the afternoon on Saturday. It was carried out on the basis of the decision of the District Veterinary Inspection to collect the dogs and cats from the owner of the shelter,” explained the voivode. He recalled that the process of transferring animals to another shelter was supervised by the police and the District Veterinary Inspectorate.
He noted that “the last records regarding the health status of animals taken over and their chip numbers are being completed.”
As he said, the head of the branch office in Siedlce was present when the dogs were handed over. A detailed report after the incident will be provided to the voivode of the Sobolew Commune and the District Veterinary Inspectorate in the coming days.
The Prime Minister announced success
Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the Ministry of Interior and Administration announced the closure of the shelter on Saturday after 3 p.m. At that time, animal lovers and, in addition to private individuals, also representatives of pro-animal organizations gathered at the shelter gate and demanded improvement of the living conditions for dogs in the shelter.
The land on which the shelter is located belongs to the commune. The tenant, Marian D., who runs the shelter, was accused of animal cruelty. The process takes many years. Many times, residents and activists, also on Saturday, appealed to the mayor of Sobolewo, Maciej Błachnio, to terminate the contract with Marian D.
