President Nicușor Dan will visit, on Tuesday, the Center for major burns in Timișoara. The Head of State will be accompanied by the Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete.

Visit to the Burns Center of the Emergency County Clinical Hospital “Pius Brînzeu” from Timișoara will take place at 11:00 a.m., according to the schedule published by the Presidential Administration.
For its part, the Ministry of Health informed that Alexandru Rogobete will participate in the president's visit to Timișoara.
The objective of the visit is to evaluate the major burns center, as well as to analyze the intervention capacity and the development of the national network for the treatment of patients with severe burns, according to an information from the Ministry of Health, reports Agerpres.
The two officials will visit the burn center at 11:00 a.m., and later they will give press statements.
The visit comes in the context where, more than 10 years after the tragedy in the Colectiv club, Romania will have three new centers for the treatment of patients with serious burns. The Minister of Health stated in March that two of these could be put into use this summer, and the children's center is recording a sustained pace of execution and could be completed next year.
“The three constructions, the three burn centers, started in 2022. In Timișoara and Târgu Mureș, the buildings are completed, work is being done on installing the equipment, ensuring the flows, the last details. Somewhere this summer we will put them both into use”Minister Rogobete announced, during the “Adevărul” Healthcare Forum.
