6 April 18:20
In Krasnoyarsk, recruitment has started for the “Victory Volunteers” corps to accompany citywide events.
The mayor's office said that residents of Krasnoyarsk over 16 years old can join the volunteer team. To participate, you must register on the official website VolunteerPobeda.rf before April 25 and submit an application to join the volunteer corps.
All participants will undergo training, where they will not only learn about the peculiarities of accompanying events, but will also immerse themselves in the history of the war years. Several groups will be formed that will coordinate the participants of the rally and the ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers at the Eternal Flame on Victory Square, spectators of the Victory Parade, and also accompany the “Immortal Regiment”.
In addition, volunteers will be involved in the All-Russian patriotic events “Wall of Memory”, “St. George Ribbon” and “Rays of Victory”.
“For us, every volunteer is not just an assistant, but a real keeper of the memory of the people’s feat. By joining the team, you become part of the important work of preserving historical truth and passing it on to the younger generation. It is especially valuable that every year the interest of young people in volunteering on such significant dates for the whole country is growing. This means that the memory of the Great Victory lives in the hearts of Krasnoyarsk residents,” says Vsevolod Proskurin, a specialist in working with youth at the Krasnoyarsk volunteer center “Good Deed”, chairman of the local branch of the KRO VOD “Volunteers of Victory”.
Detailed information about the recruitment can be obtained from the official community of the volunteer center on the VKontakte social network, as well as by calling 205-20-19.
