During the interview, Gordon and Nevzorova discussed:

Nevzorov was born in 1958 in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). He came to television in 1983, and became famous in the late 80s thanks to the author’s political program “600 Seconds,” which aired on Leningrad Television (now Channel Five). In the 90s he hosted original programs on ORT. He became a deputy of the State Duma four times (1993, 1999, 2000, 2003). In the 2000s he left politics.

Now he is developing his YouTube channel and pages on social networks, including Instagram and Telegram.

In 2022, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation accused Nevzorov of disseminating allegedly false information about the actions of the Russian armed forces in Ukraine and opened a criminal case. In 2023, the court in Moscow sentenced Nevzorov in absentia to eight years in prison. In the Russian Federation, the journalist was put on the wanted list and, together with his wife, they were called an “extremist association”; their property in the Russian Federation was confiscated as state income.

Now Nevzorov lives in Europe. In 2022, it became known that the journalist and his wife received Ukrainian citizenship.
