According to the blogger, this method of coloring eggs for an Easter basket is incredibly simple – there are no complex techniques or scarce ingredients, and the eggs come out with an amazing pattern.
Ingredients
- boiled eggs;
- 1 liter of warm water;
- egg dye;
- 3 tbsp. l. vinegar;
- 3 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.
Preparation
- Pour water into a large bowl. Add egg coloring and vinegar to seal the color.
- Mix everything well so that the dye is completely dissolved in the water.
- Lubricate your hands with vegetable oil and rub the egg with them. You can add a little more oil directly to the egg and rub evenly. It is thanks to vegetable oil that such a beautiful uneven pattern is obtained. Gloves are not required here. If you work carefully, your hands will hardly stain.
- Dip the eggs into the prepared solution. You don’t need to hold it for long – two minutes is enough.
- Place the eggs on a paper towel to drain off any excess liquid.
