Hundreds of people manifested in European cities against US President Donald Trump and his counselor Elon Musk on Saturday, after a painful week for financial markets, after Trump announced global drastic rates, reports Reuters, taken over by News.ro.

In the German city of Frankfurt, the protest “Down hands!” It was organized by Democrats Abroad, the official organization of the Democratic Party for American citizens living abroad.

In Berlin, the protesters who protested in front of a Tesla showroom wore banners asking for American compatriots living in Germany to protest for the “cessation of chaos” at home.

Gathered in Opernplatz in Frankfurt, members of the Over -Sea Democrats group demanded the resignation of the US President, with slogans on the banners that wrote “Restore Democracy”, “Down our personal data” and “The world is tired of your nonsense Donald!”

In Berlin, the slogans addressed to Musk were the following: “Shut up Elon, no one voted for you,” and a dog wore a banner that wrote “dogs against Dogs”, referring to the Department for government efficiency led by the main Musk counselor, an initiative of the second Trump administration to reduce the waste, fraud and abuse.

In the capital of France, Paris, about 200 people, most Americans, gathered Place from République to protest against Trump. Some have given speeches to denounce the US president, protesters shaking banners such as “Resistor to the tyrant”, “rule of law”, “feminists for democracy, not fascism” and “save democracy”. One of them played Bob Dylan's song “Masters of War”.

Demonstrations against Trump and Musk took place in other European cities, including London and Lisbon. In the British capital, several hundred people gathered in Trafalgar Square, holding banners that wrote “Proud American Ashamed” and “Wtaf America?”. The crowd chanted “Down hands on Canada”, “down the hands on Greenland” and “Down hands on Ukraine”, while listening to speeches that criticized Trump.
