How long is the Easter break and what will the students do in the last module of this school year

On Friday, 04/03/2026, students enter the Easter vacation, with the end of the penultimate module of the school year. An 11-day respite period follows, and from April 15 children and teachers return to school.
The last module will be a busy one for some of them: students from the 2nd, 4th and 6th grades will take the National Assessment in May, and those from the 8th and 12th grades will be on the last hundred meters with the preparation for the national exams. All this will take place against the background of the fatigue that students feel at the end of the school year.
Because the last module will be a stressful one not only for the students taking the national assessments, but also for those who will study to maintain or increase the averages at the end of the school year, it is important that this holiday is a restful one.
If there are homework, it is recommended that they be organized in such a way as to allow children to relax and recharge their batteries.
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, during the vacation periods students should not receive compulsory homework, these being considered, at most, additional recommendations, with optional status. Basically, vacations are thought of as intervals of real rest, in which the child has the right to get out of the school rhythm.
