A resident of Krasnoyarsk complained to Rospotrebnadzor about the sale of expired baby food in a store.
According to the department's press service, the woman bought children's fruit puree at the store. After opening it and eating it, she doubted the quality of the product. After checking the expiration date, it turned out that it had expired more than three months ago.
Based on the sale of expired products, Rospotrebnadzor issued a warning to the store about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements.
The department reminded that if you are faced with a similar situation, you have the right to demand from the seller a choice of:
- replacement of a low-quality product with an equally high-quality product;
- replacement with another product with corresponding recalculation of cost;
- refund of the full cost of the defective product.
In addition, when purchasing food products, be sure to pay attention to the labeling, production date, storage conditions and expiration date.
