The phenomenon concerned consists of important run-offs on slopes, torrents and streams, rapid floods on small rivers with possible local flooding effects, as well as increases in river flows and levels, with the probability of exceeding the defense quotas.

The INHGA advises the population to avoid moving near rivers, bridges or low-lying areas prone to flooding and emphasizes the importance of cleaning ditches and gullies to facilitate water drainage, as well as ensuring escape routes from homes. In case of intensification of the phenomena, the indications of local authorities and structures for emergency situations must be strictly followed, in order to prevent risks to life and property.
