Alexander Lukashenko on talks with Donald Trump. He sets a condition

In an interview with Russian television RT, fragments of which were published on Sunday, Lukashenko emphasized that Minsk is open to dialogue with Washington. He stressed, however, that a possible agreement must take into account the interests of both Belarus and the United States.
The leader of Belarus explained that talks on a broad agreement had been conducted since the beginning of negotiations between Minsk and Washington. According to him, there are still issues that require further arrangements.
Lukashenko said that “Americans should understand that the sanctions did not bring the expected results, and Belarus managed to adapt to them.” He pointed out that “matters such as political prisoners or sanctions” are – in his opinion – secondary to more serious problems that should be solved as part of a broad agreement.
— This is the subject of the great deal. As soon as we get it ready downstream, we're ready to meet Donald [Trumpem] and sign this agreement – he declared.
