Television career
Drimalovsky graduated from the Ivan Franko Lviv National University and worked as a journalist since 2015, was a correspondent and presenter on the Pershiy Zahidniy TV channel, and then hosted the Vikna-noviny program on the STB channel.
Mobilization
In February 2024, Drimalovsky during the “United News” telethon reported that he had mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The presenter completed six weeks of basic military training in the airborne forces. After completing his studies he served in the 79th Air Assault Brigade.
During his service, Drimalovsky actively maintained his blog on Instagram, was engaged in volunteer activities, and also received the status of a combat participant.
On August 4, 2025, Drimalovsky announced that he had completed his service in the airborne forces, and made a spectacular pause, only to announce a week later thatn became the speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
New challenge
Exactly two months ago Drimalovsky announced that completed his service in this department.
“I completed my service in the Ministry of Defense. And I saw from my own experience how translations work for us. Or don’t they work? Just kidding. Not everything is so bad. Especially when there is the consent of the immediate commander. I agree, a significant part of the bureaucracy can still be removed,” he wrote.
Drimalovsky noted that he has a new challenge ahead, “interesting and exciting.” Drimalovsky has not yet disclosed where he transferred to and has not contacted him.
