From April 6 to April 12, the Krasnoyarsk Territory will become one of the main sites of Space Week in Russia. The region plans to hold educational, scientific, educational and cultural events dedicated to space research, the development of engineering competencies and the popularization of science.
The press service of the regional government said that the main events will take place in Krasnoyarsk at the Rossiya National Center. The central event will be the All-Russian Space Forum. At it, representatives of federal and regional authorities, space industry enterprises, the expert and scientific community will discuss the practical results of the use of advanced technologies, support measures and mechanisms for interaction between educational institutions and enterprises, as well as the prospects for creating a National Satellite Manufacturing Center in the region.
A large-scale exhibition will be organized at the site. Anyone will be able to undergo the basic medical minimum before sending a person into space, learn about the work of leading industry enterprises, attend thematic lectures and try their hand at creating a model of a solid propellant rocket.
An extensive program was prepared jointly with leading space industry enterprises that are represented in the region. Excursions to production sites, scientific and educational lectures, children's drawing competitions, intellectual quizzes and sports competitions are organized for students and schoolchildren.
Satellite events will also be held in the territories of the region. The Shushenskoye Museum-Reserve has prepared a cultural and educational program for participants in the Siberian Longevity project. Schoolchildren from Nazarov will hold a teleconference with the first cosmonaut of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Kirill Peskov. On Cosmonautics Day, a traditional race will take place in Zheleznogorsk.
Let us add that, according to the Decree of President Vladimir Putin, Space Week in Russia will be held annually. This year it is dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's flight into space. The event was organized within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology.
