Rules for placing scooters have not yet been approved in Krasnoyarsk

In Krasnoyarsk, documents regulating the operation of electric scooters have not yet been adopted. Deputy of the regional Legislative Assembly Ilya Zaitsev announced this on his social networks.

Let us remind you that the scooter season in the city has already started. This year there are more companies for their rental – there are three operators operating in the city at the same time. This also means an increase in the scooter fleet. According to the deputy, the first complaints about chaotic parking have already been received.

Last September, a separate section on personal mobility equipment was added to the city improvement rules. It specifies occupancy restrictions, operator responsibilities, parking requirements, and evacuation options.

Prohibition zones, speed limit areas and evacuation procedures had to be approved by a separate legal act of the administration – until then, the rules for landscaping do not work. According to the deputy, these documents have not yet been adopted.

Zaitsev sent an appeal to the mayor's office addressed to the first deputy head of the city, who is in charge of this area, with a request to inform him at what stage the approval is at.
