“Little Miss Russia 2008” became a dog handler in the Krasnoyarsk search and rescue team

March 27 13:20

Rescuer Danaya Snimshchikova and her four-legged partner, a border collie named Mira, were added to the staff of the Siberian regional search and rescue team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. In 2008, the Krasnoyarsk woman won the title “Little Miss Russia 2008”.

Danae joined the detachment on March 16th. Her mentor was the head of the canine unit, Tatyana Eliseeva.

“Both the dog handler and the dog have good potential. In just 3 lessons the dog understood that he needed to make a voice. On March 30, training for a search and rescue service counselor begins,” she commented.

Previously, the dog did agility and took second place in Krasnoyarsk, so there are no problems with physical training.

Danaya herself admits that she wanted to work with dogs and be useful, so she chose the canine service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Now the rescuer and her partner are practicing their skills on man-made rubble and preparing for further training.
