According to him, the project for persons who have not reached the lower border of the mobilization age established in Ukraine (25 years) will now enter 18 professions.
Among the new positions:

- machine gunner;
- reconnaissance machine gunner;
- senior gunner;
- scout-gunner;
- Service-scout;
- A radio-telephonist intelligence officer;
- reconnaissance operator;
- The senior scout-shooter is a sniper.
Earlier, the project provided for the service of the shooter, the senior shooter, the shooter-Sniper, the arrow-sanitar, the assistant grenade launcher, the grenade launcher, the senior grenade launcher, the scout and the senior intelligence officer.
“Our goal is to provide more opportunities for soldiers to consciously choose their role, serve effectively and receive decent financial and social support. We work further – to create a strong, motivated and professional army,” said Umarov.

On February 7, in an interview with Reuters, commenting on the involvement of Ukrainians to mobilized age, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that this is not mobilization, but a special contract in which there will be many benefits and high monetary support.
February 11 of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published Details of the contract for volunteers are 18-24 years old. According to the project, the defense department guarantees the young volunteer the payment of 1 million UAH, of which 200 thousand UAH – when signing the contract, the remaining amounts will be paid in two parts during the year. Also, the contractor will receive 120 thousand UAH of combat military monthly. In total, they assured the ministry, the military will be able to receive 2 million UAH per year.
On April 12, Pavel Palisa, deputy head of the presidential office, said that about 500 people joined the “contract 18–24” project.
