Employees of Boguchanskaya HPP JSC took an active part in the celebration of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The program of events combined labor traditions, patriotic events and modern digital formats, covering hundreds of employees of the enterprise and residents of the Kezhemsky district. The preservation of historical memory is an important direction of the social policy of the Boguchanskaya HPP.

The station staff annually implements projects aimed at patriotic education of young people, provides assistance to SVO participants and members of their families, and volunteer organizations. On the eve of May 9, the administration of the Kezhemsky District presented the team with a letter of gratitude for the work done in 2025.

“For the station staff, Victory Day is the foundation of our unity. By uniting at clean-up days, in festive columns, concerts of creative groups and sports competitions, we confirm that the memory of the heroism of our people is alive and is passed on to new generations. This helps us honor the feat of our ancestors and work responsibly for the future of our country,” said Vladislav Kobyakov, General Director of Boguchanskaya HPP JSC.

The cycle of festive events began in April with the creative event “Voices of Memory”, organized by employees of the Boguchanskaya HPP for schoolchildren of the Kezhemsky district. Children of different ages recorded short videos with their favorite and most touching works about the Great Patriotic War.

Station employees continued the long-standing campaign “Remember. We are proud. We honor”: we prepared stories and portraits of our relatives who took part in the Great Patriotic War. More than fifty biographies of heroes who brought Victory closer at the front and in the rear are posted on the station’s website.

In the first days of May, the traditional motor rally “On the Roads of Victory” took place in the city of Kodinsk, in which cars decorated with patriotic symbols took part. Every fourth vehicle in the convoy was driven by employees of the Boguchanskaya HPP or divisions of the RusHydro Group.

On the eve of the main holiday events, power engineers took part in a large-scale citywide cleanup. Station employees tidied up and landscaped the sponsored territories and public spaces of Kodinsk, preparing the city for the celebrations.

On the day of the holiday, May 9, about one hundred and fifty employees of the Boguchanskaya HPP and members of their families marched through the central streets of the city to the Memorial of Glory. The energy workers, together with their families, laid wreaths and flowers at the Eternal Flame, paying tribute to front-line soldiers and home front workers.

After the completion of the requiem meeting, the power engineers and their children took part in concerts of creative groups, and the best athletes of the station ran a symbolic distance through the central part of the city of Kodinsk.
