More than a hundred houses are being inspected in Krasnoyarsk, where major repairs may not have been carried out

In Krasnoyarsk, 50 management companies and homeowners' associations may not have organized major repairs in houses with special accounts on time. The mayor's office reports this.

It was supposed to take place between 2023 and 2025. But the regional capital repair fund has not received information about the completion of work in 111 city high-rise buildings.

The owners of these houses do not pay for major repairs into the so-called “common pot”, but save funds in separate special accounts – they chose this method themselves. According to the law, in this case, residents, together with the management company or HOA, must independently organize major repairs exactly within the time limits specified in the regional program. These buildings required various types of work – repairs of elevators, gas supply systems, roofs, engineering systems, etc.

“As a result, the fund did not receive information about the overhaul of elevators in 71 houses, gas supply systems in 9 houses, roofs in 9 houses and other types of work. Now all these buildings are being examined. Conclusions, acts, photos and video materials will be provided to a special commission under the Ministry of Construction. If it is determined that there was indeed a need for major repairs, but they were not carried out, the houses will be transferred to accumulation through a “common boiler”, and the necessary work will be organized by the major repair fund. If the owners are not satisfied with this decision, they are obliged to hold a general meeting and make one of two decisions: either urgently organize the work, or formalize a decision to postpone the date of its implementation for the next three years. It is impossible to reschedule only for the overhaul of the gas supply system and elevators – these two types of work are considered a priority, since they have a greater impact on safety than others, and must be completed on time,” the mayor’s office explained.
