The glass hob looks stylish, but quickly becomes covered with dull spots, traces of sugar and stuck-on drops. Many people take up metal scrapers, not knowing that this leaves micro-scratches in which dirt then accumulates. In fact, a homemade composition is enough to soften the plaque from the inside.
Mix two tablespoons of baking soda with a little water to form a thick paste. Add a teaspoon of liquid soap or mild dish gel. This will help the mixture adhere better to a vertical surface. Apply the mixture to a warm stove, paying special attention to areas with stubborn stains. Leave for 15–20 minutes.
During this time, the soda will gently lift the burnt particles, and the soap will dissolve the fat. After that, take a damp microfiber and gently wipe the surface in a circular motion. Even old sugar or milk stains will come off without a scraper. Finally, wipe the stove with a dry cloth – it will become smooth and shiny.
This method is suitable for weekly care and does not require special products. And most importantly, it preserves the integrity of the glass so that the stove serves for a long time and makes you happy with cleanliness.
