Deputies of the Krasnoyarsk City Council at the session on September 16 supported the decision of the mayor Vladislav Loginov on early termination of powers.
The information that the head of the city of Krasnoyarsk decided to abandon his duties “due to the impossibility of their performance” appeared in the media yesterday, September 15. In parallel with this, the news telegram channels began to spread photos with the corresponding statement of the mayor of July 31. Then the authenticity of the document in the official departments was not confirmed, but they did not refute.
Today in the City Council it was reported that the statement came to them the night before. Where the document was 1.5 months and why it went to Krasnoyarsk for so long – it is not specified.
“We don’t know why it happened. We are neither couriers nor the sentence service, ”said Natalia Firyulina, chairman of the Krasnoyarsk City Council of Deputies.
Recall that now Vladislav Loginov is undergoing a criminal case and is under arrest. According to investigators, the head of the city received a bribe in the form of 180 million rubles with money from the general director of a commercial organization and paying for the construction of a bathhouse on his site. For this, the mayor ensured the victory of the company at the auction for the repair of roads.
On June 9, Vladislav Loginov was detained and transferred to Moscow. The court left the mayor of Krasnoyarsk in jail until August 4, after the arrest was extended. The mayor insisted that he was stipulated.
