“Given the enormous interest that has been shown, I will instruct the Minister of Defense [Питу Хегсету] and other appropriate departments and agencies to begin the process of identifying and releasing government documents relating to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any other information related to these extremely complex, but extremely interesting and important issues,” Trump wrote.
Before that, on February 19, Trump accused his predecessor Barack Obama of disclosing classified information during a discussion of extraterrestrial life in a podcast with blogger Brian Tucker Cohen, published on February 14. During the conversation, Obama stated that aliens exist.
“He provided classified information, he shouldn't have done that,” Trump told reporters. The video statement was published by Clash Report.
When asked if this evidenced the existence of aliens, Trump said he could not say for sure whether they were real.
