In Krasnoyarsk, a criminal case was opened regarding the injury of an 86-year-old woman as a result of an attack by a domestic dog.

It all happened on the evening of March 24 in Akademgorodok, when the victim was walking near her house. At that moment, a neighbor's shepherd dog attacked her and bit her hand, causing the woman to fall.
Passers-by, hearing the pensioner's scream, drove the dog away and called an ambulance.
“The woman was immediately taken to the hospital, where she is receiving the necessary medical care. The owner of the dog has been identified and the necessary investigative actions are being carried out with her. A criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 118 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing grievous bodily harm through negligence),” the Investigative Committee said.
