In Krasnoyarsk, a prisoner offered money to the head of the detachment for a good reference and could receive a new sentence.

The press service of the GUFSIN said that this happened in maximum security colony No. 6. One of the prisoners turned to the head of the detachment of the department for educational work with convicts with a request to help him with a transfer to lighter conditions of serving his sentence. To do this, it was necessary to prepare a positive testimonial. The man offered to pay 150 thousand rubles for this.

“He did not take into account the honesty and integrity of the prison officer. The senior lieutenant of the internal service refused the money and reported the corruption crime to the leadership of the GUFSIN. As a result of operational search activities, the transfer of a bribe was prevented,” the press service said.

A criminal case was opened against the convicted person under Part 3 of Art. 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Giving a bribe to an official for committing obviously illegal actions”). The punishment for this violation of the law is up to 8 years in prison.

The employee of IK-6 was thanked on behalf of the leadership of the GUFSIN, and he will receive a bonus. The GUFSIN of Russia in the Krasnoyarsk Territory reminded that you can report facts of corruption using the “Helpline” – (391) 249-80-87.
