In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the court ordered the administration of the city of Zheleznogorsk to pay compensation for non-pecuniary damage to a 9-year-old girl who suffered from a bite of a homeless dog.

The case occurred in April 2025, when The second -grader went to school. The path was blocked by a large aggressive homeless dog.
“The animal not just cut the child, but clung to his hand and dragged into a roadside ditch. The schoolgirl saved a passerby who managed to drive the angry dog. The consequences were serious – the girl received not only physical injuries, but also suffered moral suffering. She had to go through painful treatment and skip several academic days, ”the prosecutor’s office said.
Having established that the local authorities did not take the proper measures to capture and maintain hopeless animals, the prosecutor filed a lawsuit with the administration in favor of the injured 50 thousand rubles of compensation. The requirements are satisfied, the execution is under control.
