Krasnoyarsk resident Klavdia Khetchikova turns 100

The day before, Klavdia Vasilyevna Khetchikova, a resident of the Central District of Krasnoyarsk and home front worker, turned 100 years old.
Administration staff congratulated the hero of the day on her birthday.
During the Great Patriotic War, the woman worked for the benefit of the front: she reaped wheat in the field and sewed clothes.

“Klavdia Vasilievna is a home front worker, a person of amazing destiny and strong spirit of the era. She was born in 1926 into a large friendly family on the picturesque Vyatka land. Despite the difficulties, she continued her studies, graduated from a pedagogical school and devoted many years to educating the younger generation, working as a primary school teacher. Today Klavdiya Vasilievna is a symbol of perseverance, hard work and love of life, an example for all of us,” the mayor’s office said.
