
According to the blogger, vegetables should be stored on an unheated balcony or in a cold vestibule, placing the potatoes in regular vegetable nets. Thanks to this, the vegetables will not wrinkle or sprout.
“The first important secret is that the potatoes are stored in a net,” noted the gardener. “The second secret is that we put dry wormwood on the net or scatter it on top. And, finally, the third secret is that after putting the wormwood, we cover the net with the potatoes with a thick dark cloth.”
The gardener recommended using an old blanket, explaining that it would protect the potatoes from light and heat.
“That’s all three secrets – potatoes don’t grow, don’t rot, don’t spoil,” she summed up.
