What are the consequences?

So far, the attention of the United States and Israel has focused on the Iranian fleet in the Persian Gulf and Oman. However, Iran also has ships in the Caspian Sea used to transfer weapons – mainly Shahed drones – to Russia. The attack could hamper these deliveries and affect Moscow's military support for Tehran, which bypasses Western sanctions.
