Conflict in the company that buys TVN. They leave their jobs and go on strike

Employees of the CBS News 24/7 news station called a 24-hour strike on Tuesday. We are talking about about 60 people. They are represented by the Journalists Guild of America East (WGAE). The union is organizing pickets in front of CBS News headquarters in New York and in front of KPIX-TV CBS News Bay Area in San Francisco.
“Paramount has billions to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery, but still fails to guarantee fair wages and basic protections for the workers who keep its news service running,” said WGAE vice president Beth Godvik.
“Journalists are walking off the job today on both US coasts as management refuses to agree to a new contract with essential worker protections,” the unions say.

Strike at the future owner of TVN. Fight for contracts
The previous contract expired last week, and a new one has still not been reached. Trade unionists argue that the employer offers worse conditions than in previous contracts. A CBS News spokesman said in response to questions from The Guardian that they are “negotiating in good faith and hope to quickly reach a fair settlement.”
