The mayor of Moscow announced a drone attack on the Russian capital 18 times in one day

For the first time that day, Sobyanin informed about the downing of two UAVs flying towards Moscow at 11:27.

After that, every few minutes to half an hour, he published another 17 reports of a drone attack on the capital. They differed only in the number of declared drones. All of them, according to the mayor, “were shot down,” and emergency services worked at the site of the falling debris.

If you count the total number of drones that Sobyanin wrote about before 10:20 p.m., you get 65.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Telegram a massive attack on the Russian Federation. According to the department, from 11.00 to 21.00 Moscow time, Russian air defense “intercepted and destroyed 280 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles over the territories of Bryansk, Kaluga, Belgorod, Tver, Smolensk, Kursk regions, Krasnodar Territory and Moscow region, including 47 UAVs flying on Moscow”.

Russian propagandists TASS, citing their own calculations, reported that this drone attack on the Russian capital was the largest since the beginning of the year: 65 drones were shot down in less than 12 hours.

Astra on Telegram published a video of a drone flying over the Russian Federation with a comment from an eyewitness.

“Fucking jackal. Now the air gun will work,” he says. Whether it was one of the UAVs flying to Moscow is unknown.

The monitoring public Exilenova+ on Telegram also published a video with drones in the Russian sky and a response comment.

“For almost the whole day our wings fly around Moscow and the region,” the channel noted.

At 11:19 p.m., Exilenova+ distributed a message from a user, probably from the Russian Federation, who was talking about the number of drones launched in the aggressor country.

“Taking into account the total number that flew/is flying to all territories of our country today, yesterday and recently, I have a question: are they printing their shit on a printer?! Every day in such quantities,” the post says.
