Earlier in an interview with Axios, Zelensky suggested that Trump could personally come to Ukraine to help convey to Ukrainians the arguments in favor of the “peace plan.”
At a press conference, Trump was asked about the likelihood of a visit to Ukraine, but he replied that there were no such plans yet.
“I might go to Ukraine to address parliament. I don't think it's necessary, but if it helps save 25,000 lives a month, I'll go,” he said.

Negotiations between Trump and Zelensky at the Mar-a-Lago residence were supposed to last about an hour, but lasted more than two.
At the beginning of the meeting with Zelensky, Trump said that negotiations to resolve the war started in Ukraine by the aggressor country of the Russian Federation are at the final stage. According to him, if an agreement is concluded, Ukraine will quickly receive “tremendous economic benefits.”
Before the negotiations with Zelensky, Trump spoke on the phone with the illegitimate Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Kremlin said they expect one more call following negotiations in the USA.
