The tenth anniversary International Forum of United Cultures (until last year it was just the International Cultural Forum) ended over the weekend in the beautiful Northern capital, which pleased all the guests and each of the 2,365 participants from 83 countries with good weather.
So much so that about 100 thousand people came to watch the largest concert since Madonna on Palace Square. And there was something to see, because artists from the BRICS countries performed on stage together: Yulianna Karaulova with the Brazilian singer and violinist Mato Miranda, Denis Maidanov with Akhmet al Hosani from the UAE, and so on.
It wouldn't be possible without a business program either. 35 ministers of culture from different countries came to St. Petersburg. Olga Lyubimova met with some of them for negotiations. The most important things that were announced on the sidelines of the forum were carefully collected on cards.
