The signal sent by one of Trump's “countries”: the US should declare victory with Iran and leave

David Sacks, the White House artificial intelligence “czar”, said on Friday that the United States should “declare victory and withdraw” from the war with Iran, Reuters reports, pointing out that this is a rare case in which a senior official of Donald Trump's administration has called for an exit from the conflict with Tehran

“It's a good time to declare victory and get out of the fray,” said Sacks, Trump's cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence chief, in a deflation on the “All-In Podcast.”

He, whose title is chairman of the Presidential Advisory Commission on Science and Technology, said the United States had weakened Iran's military capabilities.

“I agree that we should try to find a way out,” Sacks explained.

“If escalation is not going anywhere, then you have to think about how you can defuse the conflict. Defuse, I think, involves reaching some kind of cease-fire agreement or some kind of negotiated solution with Iran,” the Trump administration official also said.
