Ciprian Ciucu: “I'm making a podcast”. The mayor wants to reach the top 20 in Romania with him
The Mayor of the Capital Ciprian Ciucu announces that he will open a podcast in which he will explain the problems of Bucharest and the projects he has. For now, the mayor has not established the format of the show, but he promises to take care of the podcast outside the program.
“I'm making a podcast. Work in progress. I don't have the time, the inclination, and I don't even know how to mess around on TikTok and capture your attention in three seconds and cultivate hatred with random live streams, as I please”, wrote Ciprian Ciucu on Facebook.
The mayor says that the podcast is dedicated to those who want to understand Bucharest “down to its depths” and how the city is governed.
“I don't have a name for it yet, I don't have a format yet (e.g. a tandem with an independent journalist who will be a spin doctor, a different guest each time, etc.) and I haven't decided whether it will be live or recorded,” wrote Ciucu.
The mayor has not announced a release date for the podcast, but assures that it won't last long.
“It will be in the evening anyway, outside of working hours and I haven't decided with what frequency. I also propose a target: by the end of the year to be in the top 20 podcasts in Romania”, concluded Ciprian Ciucu.
