The “Drop of Good” donor campaign opens a new season; Krasnoyarsk residents are invited to take part in donating blood. This was reported to the mayor's office.
The organizer of the event is the volunteer center “Good Deed”. The event will take place on March 14 at 149 Ada Lebedeva Street, at 09:00 a modern mobile blood transfusion complex will be deployed there. Anyone who weighs at least 50 kilograms, has reached the age of 18 and has completed the pre-registration procedure will be able to become a donor.
Before donating blood, you need to get enough sleep and have breakfast – sweet tea, cookies, porridge with water. The day before, limit yourself to eating fatty, fried, smoked foods, as well as dairy products. In addition, you should stop smoking one hour and alcohol 48 hours before donation.
“Over the years, we have seen how people’s attitudes towards donation are changing. Today, more and more Krasnoyarsk residents are realizing the importance of this mission. Every donor is a person who makes a real contribution to saving lives. We are proud that we can organize this important process and give everyone the opportunity to do a truly good deed,” said Vsevolod Proskurin, curator of the “A Drop of Good” campaign.
However, he added that blood will not be taken from those who had COVID-19 less than six months ago or have recently been vaccinated. People with hepatitis will not be allowed to receive subsidies.
Details of the “A Drop of Good” campaign can be obtained from the official “Good Deed” community on the social network “VKontakte”, as well as by phone: 205-20-19.
