In a video published on Facebook, Alina Gorghiu ridiculed the position of the AUR leader and accused him of avoiding important decisions regarding Romania's security.

“Well, what are you doing, me, Simioane? Weren't you the most “MAGA among the MAGAs”? Weren't you America's great friend? When the US strengthens NATO security and uses the Mihail Kogălniceanu base for defensive operations, you and AUR run away from the vote and make a scandal”, declared Gorghiu.

The PNL deputy stated that the actions of AUR parliamentarians cannot be considered patriotic and that important decisions for the country must be taken in Parliament.

“Well, what are you doing, Simoane? This is patriotism? That it is not done only by words and live on Facebook, it is done by concrete decisions in Parliament that defend Romania. Or those friends from… Moscow didn't give you permission again”, Gorghiu also said.
