In Krasnoyarsk, employees of the traffic police regiment detained a 43-year-old driver who, while intoxicated, drove a car despite the deprivation of his license, and became the culprit of the accident.
It all happened in the garage area at 34 Yushkova Street – the man was unable to pass the car and caused a collision. During his examination, the alcohol content in the exhaled air was found to be 1.15 mg/l, which exceeds the permissible limit by more than 7 times.
“As the man explained, he was going to the pharmacy, but such an act has no justification. In addition, a year ago the same driver was already brought to administrative responsibility for drunk driving. Therefore, now a criminal case has been opened against the violator for a similar violation under Part 1 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation,” the traffic police said.
